Overview

They say "a fool at forty is a fool forever," and Nollywood's latest release, Fool at 40, leans into that proverb with a blend of humour, chaos, and family drama. Bringing together comedic heavyweights and screen veterans, the movie delivers an entertaining exploration of identity, middle-age crises, and family secrets.

The Plot

The story follows a man reaching his 40th birthday who believes he has his life, marriage, and status totally under control. However, a sudden turn of events sparked by hidden past secrets, unexpected confrontations, and family interference shatters his composure. What follows is a series of comedic misadventures as he attempts to navigate midlife maturity while proving to everyone around him that he isn't the fool they make him out to be.
