GUILTY OR NOT GUILTY (Yawaskits Movies)
Imagine confessing to stealing a 1,400 Naira chocolate bar, but the police record it as a full confession for attempted murder!
The Setup
Kalisu and Bomik are just trying to survive a regular grocery shopping trip. After a chaotic encounter with an aggressive CCTV engineer at the store, Kalisu gets distracted trying to get a beautiful girl's number. In the confusion, he accidentally walks out with an unpaid chocolate bar in his pocket. Because he refuses to go back inside and pay for a cheap item, they drive off—only to be immediately surrounded and arrested by the police.
The Fatal Misunderstanding
The boys are thrown into an interrogation room. Believing they are busted for the stolen chocolate, they openly confess, with Kalisu even bragging that they "ate the evidence." But here is the massive twist: a supermarket attendant was brutally stabbed and left for dead at the exact same time they were shopping. The police aren't investigating petty theft; they are investigating attempted murder, and the boys just handed them a full confession.
The Courtroom Chaos
Facing life in prison and the wrath of the victim's grieving mother, they hire a "professional" lawyer to save them. The lawyer is an absolute disaster. He is so incompetent that he ends up sleeping in the exact same jail cell as his clients. When the trial finally begins, the lawyer shows up late, dressed in casual streetwear, and is immediately held in contempt of court by the judge before he can even defend them.
The Final CCTV Twist
Just when it looks like Kalisu and Bomik are going to prison forever, the police present hidden CCTV footage from a neighboring bank. The video is a lifesaver, clearly showing the aggressive CCTV engineer from earlier committing the crime and fleeing the back alley. But right as the boys are about to celebrate their freedom, the video keeps playing—hilariously revealing Kalisu aimlessly wandering around in the background of the active crime scene because he was busy looking for the girl he had been flirting with!
